Julie Xu
A Mandarin-language educator, originally from Taiwan, has over 15 years of teaching experience in Corporate training and International schools sectors worldwide.
With her business degree from the UK and a teaching degree from China, Julie is specialized in Business Mandarin training to young professionals, managers and executives who plan to advance their careers and frequently travel in Chinese-speaking countries.
In addition, she has also worked in a prestigious international school – Tanglin Trust in Singapore, as Head of the Chinese department to teach and set up the Mandarin Chinese program for children who learn as a foreign language.
As a passionate language educator, Julie has been dedicated herself to students worldwide, from young children to adults. Coming from a cross-cultural family, Julie understands the struggles of foreign learners. Her philosophy of teaching Mandarin Chinese is to learn through inquiry and exploratory approaches to develop interests and lifelong language learning skills.
